Rock on! Afgelopen mei ging Dan and the Middle Men er met de winst vandoor tijdens de Rock Circus Talent Tour - Friesland, nu komen ze op vrijdag 15 september terug om met hun punchy alt-rock het café op stelten te zetten. Dit doen ze niet alleen, want deze avond staan er maar liefst drie rockbands op het podium! Female fronted rockband Blackboots levert een stevig potje rock, terwijl Be My Guest je meeneemt met hun introverte, explosieve alt-rock. Dat wordt een lekker ruig avondje!
Dan and the Middle Men
Een punchy alt-rockband met invloeden variërend van Soundgarden tot Royal Blood. De band is ontstaan uit een solo project van de Ierse frontman Daniel Devoy die in 2020 naar Nederland verhuisde. Zware grooves en energieke fuzzy riffs zijn kenmerkend voor hun geluid. De eerste EP 'Pattern Recognition Machine' verscheen in 2021 en sindsdien is de band er klaar voor om hun energieke, catchy garagerock te laten horen! En niet zonder succes, want ze hebben dit jaar de Graspoll Talent Battle en de Friese voorronde van de Rock Circus Talent Tour gewonnen. Dat belooft veel goeds!
Blackboots
Deze vijfkoppige female fronted rockband levert eigen werk en staat voor een stevig repertoire met metal en rock invloeden. Naast de bestaande nummers, rolt er inmiddels nieuw werk van de plank. Blackboots on stage staat garant voor een dynamische show met een stevige bite!
Be My Guest
Be My Guest schrijft introverte, explosieve alt-rock over het navigeren van de grote wereld als klein persoon. Want wat betekent het nou om mens te zijn? Het gaat over tegenstellingen, paniek, warmte, onrust en authenticiteit. Het gaat over jou. Klinkt de bandnaam je bekend in de oren? Dat klopt! Je zag Be My Guest namelijk al eerder in het café tijdens Showcase #1.

Last May, Dan and the Middle Men took home the victory at the Rock Circus Talent Tour - Friesland, and now they're back on Friday, September 15th, to rock the cafe with their punchy alt-rock. But they won't be alone, because this evening, there will be not one, not two, but three rock bands taking the stage! Female-fronted rock band Blackboots delivers a hefty dose of rock, while Be My Guest takes you on a journey with their introverted, explosive alt-rock. It's going to be a wild night!
